It was a country that witnessed the birth of a new part of me

Agradeço imenso o destino ter-me levado a este País.

When I started my course in EP Fafe It was explained to us that at the time there was the Leonardo da Vinci programme, in which everyone would have the opportunity to participate. Once I had the information that could participate and I got extremely excited because it could be a chance to know a new country, culture and its traditions. By taking the decision to participate in the new Erasmus + programme in 2015 my great object was to put me to the test, to see how far I could actually go and risk.

My internship was located in the city of Cork, Vibes & Scribes. Besides being a place where I had the pleasure and opportunity to work with great people, who welcomed me with open arms, it was also a place where they taught me methods and ways of work, some just like in Portugal, others better, others that I was unaware of. I acquired new skills and could see and follow the way of work and interaction and I also had the opportunity to improve my English.

Until then Ireland had never been a country of election to me, however, I had a huge surprise and a very positive one for knowing places that I will never forget, adventures that I may never go again, met people who became close friends, lived joys and some sorrows . It was a country that witnessed the birth of a new part of me. It was where I felt homesick and now, at home, I miss being there. I really appreciate the fate to have led me to this country. Thank you for welcoming me Cork.

I owe a great THANK YOU to XPTO + program, EUROYOUTH Portugal, Partnership International, Vibes & Scribes and Fafe Vocational School for the great opportunity and support.
