Tell us what are you doing in Czech Republic? We arrived here April 27th and the first two weeks were very relaxing, with the language course. But now we have a lot of work! In the company colleagues are very good, I’m very happy, there’s a lot of work but the project we are doing is very good and compensated, and I learned a lot.
Was it what you expected? The truth is it was not: I expected worse because I have never worked as an architect and I did not know what was working in a studio until I got here. The work is individual but always at the end of the day we expose it in a meeting. The projects here are different from those of Spain, here are more like competitions, and you have to investigate. Projects are more beautiful, and in Spain are more boring because it is only build to the maximum.
What things of Prague would you recommend? I did the tourist route from downtown, it’s beautiful walking in it, but I still have so much to discover of this city.

¿Cuéntanos qué tal te va en República Checa? Pues llegamos aquí el 27 de abril y las dos primeras semanas muy relajaditas con el curso de idiomas y ahora con mucho trabajo. En la empresa estamos muy bien, estoy muy contenta, tenemos mucho trabajo pero el proyecto que hacemos está muy bien y compensa, además estoy aprendiendo mucho.
¿Era lo que esperabas? Pues la verdad es que no, lo esperaba peor porque nunca he trabajado como arquitecta y entonces no sabía lo que era trabajar en un estudio antes de aquí. El trabajo es individual pero siempre al final del día tenemos una reunión donde todos exponemos el trabajo hecho. Los proyectos aquí son diferentes a los de España, aquí son más como competiciones, tienes que investigar son más bonitos, y en España son más aburrido porque solamente es construir al máximo.
¿Qué recomendarías de Praga? Pues he hecho la ruta turística del centro que es precioso para pasear, aunque por el tiempo tampoco hemos podido ir a muchos más lugares asique todavía me queda mucho por descubrir de esta ciudad.
