A story by: Ana Vicente

Country of Origin: Spain

Destination: Vienna (Austria)

Story in English:

I have always dreamed about the experience of living abroad, as I did as an Erasmus student in Germany during 9 months. In that period, I learnt German for the first time, and when it finished I went back to Spain and continued studying it, as the German culture has always caught my eye. After that, an internship was given to me to work in Austria for 3 months, and I didn’t hesitate over that decision. I never imagined I would live in such a fantastic city as Vienna. From the first day I arrived here, I got a feeling: I wouldn’t abandon the beauty city.

Vienna is different from all the others, with its large monuments and XIX century architecture, the calm perception of the streets. And doors opened to me when I was offered to work in the intermediary company. Currently I am enjoying receiving people from European countries who want to make practicum, learning German everyday and learning from this culture in detail.

Thanks to this experience I have become more self-sufficient and I am discovering all the possibilities that everybody can do thanks to the personal effort, so it is for that reason that I will be eternally grateful to have been given this opportunity.

I have no doubt in recommending everybody the experience of living abroad, as the least you will get from it is personal enrichment.
