Chloe – I feel very lucky!

A Story by Chloe Letellier

Country of origin: France. Destination: UK.

Doing an internship was a requirement of my school. I decided to come to the UK to discover more about the way of working abroad. Last year I stayed 2 months in England doing a Marketing and Business Development internship. I had to find partnerships with France and Spain, do some HR, and update the social media… It was a fabulous experience. I really enjoyed those 2 months. I learnt so much thanks to the directors of the company. I had no experience before coming in the UK, but they trusted me, and gave me my chance.  I gained more self-confidence during the internship. I now know what I am worth.

I also made really good friends there.

Thanks to this internship, I am now working in England as an intern in another company. I would never have this chance without my first internship in the UK. I feel very lucky.

I gain more and more experience.

Being part of internships really helps to define a professional project for the future. Without it I would still be hesitating about what I want to do. Now I know that I would like to work in an export department, doing sales, marketing and business development.

I would really advise a mobility experience to my friends and family. They all know I am working in the UK, and are willing to come too.

Everyone should have the chance to be a part of that wonderful experience.
