I decided to take part in a mobility experience because I wanted to get more experience in my domain and learn better English. Mobility has brought so much to my life. I really enjoyed my stay in Derry. I like my work placement and people in work. People here are polite and friendly, but I have to go back to Slovakia because I have to continue my studies and I have got family there. I will miss this because I like Derry and I got a lot of skills in my field. During my time here, I learned more about Irish culture and history. I have more experience than before and I also learnt better English. I think that doing a work placement here was the best experience of my life; I was able to become independent and mature as I was in a different country and didn’t know anybody.  Mobility has helped me feel more connected to the rest of Europe, as I have met lots of people from other parts of Europe, and I do feel more integrated now than I did before.
